High School Team
Three Point Shooting Competition
March 17th & March 20th
Time: 4:00pm - 8:00pm
Price: $10 per player
Join us to determine the best three point shooting team and win a dozen basketballs for your high school!
Using our state-of-the-art Dr. Dish shooting machines, teams will compete to see which high school can claim the title of
Best Three Point Shooters and win a dozen basketballs for their school.
All players will receive a t-shirt.
Players on a team must be from the same high school.
Sign up for one of the 30 minute slots on Monday 3/17 or Thursday 3/20 and bring up to four players to compete.
The competition will consist of five rounds.
*In the first, three players will position themselves in stationary predetermined spots around the three point arc. The Dr. Dish will pass basketballs to each player in succession for four minutes. The percentage made will determine the team’s score for that round.
* The second round can use three or four players. The first player will shoot from three predetermined positions around the three point arc. The Dr. Dish will pass them the ball at the first position and then very quickly pass them a ball at the second, followed by the third. The next player will repeat this pattern until the team has shot for four minutes (approximately 100 shots). The percentage made will determine the team’s score that round.
* The third round will have players shoot from the same three predetermined spots but all by themselves for 60 seconds. Three or four players can participate. The team’s score for that round will be average percentage made for all participating players.
*Rounds four and five will be repeats of rounds one and two. The team’s total from all five rounds will determine their final score.
The team with the highest score wins. Ties will be broken by looking at highest score in round five. If that was a tie, then round four will be used, then three, then two, then one.
*The first person of a team to register should choose the option to create a new team. All subsequent members will be able to join that existing team upon registration.
**Once registration is complete, you can pick your desired date and time through self-service. We will send a self-service link to create an account when you register. You can also reserve your day/time by calling us.

Shooting Competitions
Ages 7 to 10
Five teams (3 players per team) will shoot for six minutes each round. One player from each team will shoot for the first 2 minutes, then another player for two minutes, and finally the remaining player will shoot for 2 minutes. The players not shooting will rebound for their shooting teammate. Shots will be taken from the right elbow, free throw line, and left elbow (in that order) and repeated as many times as possible during the two minutes. Each made basket scores one point for their team. The team with the most baskets made during the round will score a victory point. There will be between 8 and 12 rounds depending on the number of teams.
